Phil Mickelson in the Lead

Staying on the subject of golf, we still see Phil Mickelson doing okay. He has been able to keep the lead in the Northern Trust Open at the Rivera Country Club. He would have done better, I feel, but time ran out as the sun started to set.
Mickelson has  a one-shot lead. He was able to make a birdie from 35 feet at the 18th hole. And this was as the sun was setting and it became too dark to play anymore.
This was at 5:42 pm. And they weren't done as there was still 30 golfers waiting for their turn.
Golf takes time to play. While it is not as slow as a game of chess it can be as intense.
Time will tell if Mickelson can keep the lead. After all, today is another day and by the time you are reading this all will be over and the world will know the results.
I guess the secret is in the swing he uses. And you can learn how to improve your swing also.. Not that it will make you a comtender like Mickelson, but it will help you enjoy the game. And not all of us are going to be contenders. But those of us who are golfers would like to improve our game so we can get more enjoyment. After all, it is not just the time spent with friends that we are looking for. Not many of us want to be poor game players. Someone has to be last but don't be last because of your poor swing.
